St. Matthew Lutheran Church’s Mission Statement:

In response to God’s love, we share God’s Word and serve all people.

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus pointed his disciples to two great commandments: (1) love the Lord with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind; and (2) love your neighbor as yourself. St. Matthew Lutheran Church endeavors, with God’s grace, to follow Christ’s call by: (1) participating in robust, Biblically-oriented, Spirit-filled, prayer-soaked worship that engages heart and mind around Word and Sacrament aimed at worship of God and the building of faith; and (2) reaching beyond our walls to care for all in our community. Our members are involved in a wide variety of ministries that feed the hungry and provide warm blankets to those who are cold. We donate our money, we volunteer our time, we open our building to and we share our passion with people within and without the church for the glory of God and the care of our brothers and sisters.
